How does local AI work?
After model setup, supported AI processing runs on your device. Cloud downloads and synchronization still require a connection.
What stays encrypted?
Saved Stormy device data stays encrypted while locked. Cloud storage uses encryption and account access checks. Readable copies you export are outside Stormy’s protection.
Can I work offline?
Keep files on your device before going offline. Supported AI tools need downloaded models, unlocked storage, and valid access.
What if I lose my key?
Keep your Stormy recovery key and passphrase somewhere safe. A remembered device is a convenience, not a replacement for your recovery backup.
